This is one of the best soul/comfort food places I've ever had the pleasure to eat at. Everything's made fresh as soon as you order. Not like other restaurants that have meals pre-made. The chicken wings are outstanding, not like the ones you'll find at a sports bar; were talking a meal. The gumbo is excellent as are the fried ribs. I also love the shrimp po'boy. There is nothing that I have tried that isn't downright mouth watering delicious. Yes you might wait but it's worth it for fresh food made from scratch. Deffinently one of my favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is laid back and the prices are right. Don't just take my word for it give it a try. You won't be sorry and I'm a very picky eater.

The baked chicken, fried okra, and catfish were very tasty 😋. The service was friendly. They lost a star only because the collard greens were too salty and the floor was a little sticky.

Fred is a pillar of our community and his food is absolutely delicious! With food made fresh when you order it, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We have only had the fish, but each time it was quite good. To that you can add the fries, black eye peas, and veggie medley. The Kool-Aid had the right amount of sugar and the serving is more than adequate. Go there if you like down home food and people.

Burgers and chicken wings are good! Friendly staff and different things to choose from. From beef tips to catfish to meatloaf to fried ribs. Highly recommend! Wait time isn't bad depending on what time of day you go.

Got the shrimp with cabbage and yams. The cabbage was brown and the yams were hard and not good. The shrimp was the only thing that was ok. Very disappointed!!

Fantastic catfish! The owner is always friendly. For sides, I had the black eyed peas & fried okra. All were delicious!
